From 29th November till 13th December 2025, MusicDance Cape Town will return for its 8th season at Theatre Arts.
Since 2018, MusicDance Cape Town has brought together dancers, musicians, actors, performance artists from diverse backgrounds to create unique performances — live, immediate, and unrepeatable. Each show is born in the moment: artists respond to each other through sound, movement, light, and presence, making every performance a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
This year, we are expanding our vision: more artists, more collaborations, and more opportunities for audiences to witness the beauty of real-time creation.
This project builds bridges between music and dance, across cultures and disciplines, creating a supportive community where artists experiment, take risks, and push creative boundaries. It offers audiences the rare chance to experience performances that are raw, alive, and unfolding right in front of their eyes.
The funds raised will help with the space, the production costs and the facilitating artists fee, and to allow participants to join the project -a training programme into performance- at a very affordable fee.
By supporting MusicDance, you help sustain a unique space for collaboration and creation in Cape Town. Over the years, the project has sparked new international collaborations, and meaningful connections. Where music and movement meet, magic happens.
